It's time for fans to celebrate the birthday of Cantopop boy band Mirror member Anson Lo Hon-ting.
A series of birthday charity events have been prepared, with the theme of "Keep Giving, Keep Loving."
A pink-themed popup store celebrating the singer in Langham Place, Mong Kok opened yesterday and will stay open for 15 days. It features a display of music awards won by Lo who will turn 28 on July 7. There will also be birthday-themed instant camera photo opportunities and song-inspired toy capsule vending machines. The main attraction is a letter from Lo to his fans that says: "We've experienced a lot together this year. Thank you for your support. You made me who I am today."
Other celebration activities include a free ride on the Star Ferry to and from Central and Tsim Sha Tsui and an ice cream truck offering free pink ice cream.
Lo's fans club president said a variety of products including mini figurines, picture books, flashlights, fans and towels will be for sale. Profits will be donated to children, elderly and animal-related charities.
