Bowtie, the first virtual insurance company in Hong Kong, has announced the appointment of Professor Tony Mok Shu-kam, a leading clinical oncology expert, as its medical consultant.He is also the first ethnic Chinese to be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the European Society for Medical Oncology and has been named a Giant of Cancer Care 2020. Bowtie believes that with Mok's experience in treating serious diseases, he will provide strategic medical and scientific advice to the Bowtie team to further improve its health insurance products.
Mok is the chairman of the Department of Clinical Oncology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
