2 arrested as police intercept suspected drug-dealing car in Jordan

Police arrested a man and a woman after intercepting a suspected drug-dealing car in Jordan early Thursday.

Officers from the police tactical unit spotted a suspicious white Honda private car parked at the junction of Parkes Street and Nanking Street around midnight and conducted an inspection.

A small quantity of suspected drugs was found inside the vehicle. The male driver and female passenger were arrested at the scene and taken to a police station for further investigation.

The type and quantity of the drugs are being verified. Police are investigating the incident.
