Police bust suspected illegal gambling den in Sham Shui Po flat

Police raided a Sham Shui Po unit on Friday afternoon, dismantling a suspected illegal gambling den using fishing arcade machines and arresting eight people.

Officers seized four fishing gambling machines, assorted gambling equipment, and a small amount of cash.

Among those arrested, a 57-year-old Vietnamese man, suspected of managing the gambling place; one mainland Chinese woman and six local men aged 22–56, suspected of gambling on the premises.

All remain in custody for investigation.
