Traffic lanes towards Kwun Tong were temporarily closed off after a sedan overturned as it crashed into a stone barrier in Kowloon Bay on Friday morning.
At 7.43 today, a sedan was driving towards Kwun Tong via the Kwun Tong Bypass.
When it got near the MegaBox shopping mall located in Kowloon Bay, it suddenly crashed into the stone barrier divide and overturned, laying across the traffic lanes on its side.
Motorists who witnessed the incident contacted the police for assistance.
The 32-year-old male driver, surnamed Chan, got out of the vehicle on his own and had not suffered any injuries.
Paramedics were alerted to the scene, and Chan refused to be taken to hospital after being examined.
The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, part of the traffic lane on the Kwun Tong Bypass near MegaBox was closed, and motorists could only use the remaining traffic lanes.
