Two jockeys fall off horses on the same raceday at Sha Tin

Hong Kong’s jockey Keith Yeung Ming-lun appeared to be fine after falling from a horse during a race at Sha Tin racecourse on Sunday.

Yeung was riding Sugar Ball in race 10 this afternoon and was dislodged from the horse just after the race started.

Yeung and the horse both were fine after examination.

Another incident happened in race 2. Jockey Hugh Bowman was flung into the air by the horse One Heart One when it tumbled in the last 400 meters.

Bowman was conscious after the incident and was able to participate in the remaining races today.

However, One Heart One has to be euthanized due to its injuries.
