Two people hospitalized after van hits fence and overturns

Two people were hospitalized after a van flipped on its side after crashing into a metal fence in Tai Po Friday afternoon.

Around 3 pm today, a van heading towards Shum Shui Po via the Tai Po Road suddenly lost control as it got near the Kam Shan Country Park.

The out-of-control van crashed into a metal fence and flipped on its side, temporarily trapping the four people inside.

The four people inside the car later got out on their own, and two of them were taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital for medical attention.

It is understood that the vehicle belonged to the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.
