Police were called to a Sham Shui Po home on Monday morning after a woman claimed his husband had slashed their three daughters aged between two to five. All three were confirmed dead after resuscitation attempts at Caritas Medical Centre.
The force was alerted of the incident that happened at a residential unit on 115 Kweilin Street in Sham Shui Po at 11.01 am. Sources said the woman caller claimed his husband had attacked her with a knife and “killed their three daughters.”
All three were rushed to Caritas Medical Centre unconscious. The wife was also said to have suffered from knife wounds during the attack.
According to sources, all three girls of the family died of suffocation with no knife wounds found on them.
A number of police officers had responded to the scene following the report, cordoning off nearby streets.
A manhunt and an investigation are ongoing.
