Former Hong Kong rhythmic gymnast and Columbia PhD student Stacey Devina Chan was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2025 on Sunday night, impressing judges with poise and confidence, while her private life also drew attention.

Chan confirmed her relationship with a tall, bespectacled man, who was spotted greeting her at the airport during filming in Malaysia.
According to East Week, the sister publication of The Standard, Chan's partner, Martin, is a student at the University of Southern California. The duo met at a joint university event and has been dating for nearly two years. Friends say the couple maintains a close bond, with their chemistry being unmistakable.
Intimate photos of the pair are also found online—from Valentine’s Day bouquets to sunset holiday snaps. In several images, Chan wore daring backless outfits while Martin wrapped his arms around her, fuelling online buzz.

Chan, great-granddaughter of philanthropist Chan Sui-ki, said she plans to follow her family’s charitable footsteps. She also expressed interest in showbiz, naming TVB sitcom Come Home Love as her dream entry point.
“Since retiring from gymnastics, I’ve missed performing,” she said. “Joining Miss Hong Kong gave me a chance to step back into the spotlight.”
