Police have arrested two more people in connection to last month’s robbery where a Tsim Sha Tsui shop lost some HK$40 million worth of luxury wristwatches.

The robbery occurred on the afternoon of December 12 last year at Alpha Watch & Jewellery, located at 25 Granville Road. Police believed six people were involved in the robbery.
A police spokesman said on Monday that following the arrest of five others earlier, detectives of the Yau Tsim Mong district yesterday arrested a 30-year-old non-ethnic Chinese man in Tai Kok Tsui. A foreign woman was also arrested during the operation.
The man was arrested for robbery and trafficking in a dangerous drug, while the woman was arrested for assisting an offender and trafficking in a dangerous drug.
Approximately 529 grams of suspected methamphetamine, with an estimated value of around HK$220,000, were seized. The two arrestees were currently being detained for further investigation.
