Cleanup mascot in a mess

Food and Environmental Hygiene Department's mascot Keep Clean Ambassador Ah Tak posted on his Facebook page yesterday to remind citizens not to throw rubbish everywhere after tomb sweeping.

Ah Tak said he found some common elements between Ching Ming and Valentine's Day.

"Both festivals are about expressing feelings, sending flowers, spending money, and paying for meals," he said.

While his psychological statement seemed to make sense, Ah Tak carelessly mismatched the illustrations of Valentine's Day and Ching Ming.

In the Ching Ming illustration, Ah Tak was holding red roses and chocolates with a sweet expression; while in the Valentine's Day illustration, he was holding white flowers with a teary face. His hands clasped together with traditional offering food like fruits, chicken, and longevity peach buns.

Netizens then realized Ah Tak's love life was a total mix-up. Ah Tak playfully replied: "I finally know why my last Valentine's Day confession failed."
