After three long years, aspiring artists can finally explore the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in person again. The academy will be holding its annual Open Day on March 5 at its main campus in Wan Chai and the Bethanie Landmark Heritage Campus in Pok Fu Lam.
Director Gillian Choa said"We are delighted to follow the tradition of presenting our annual Open Day in physical format this year and bring free performing arts events to the public. The academy has continued to explore innovative ways of teaching and learning and will be keen to showcase special programs integrating performing arts and technology at this year's Open Day."
Highlights include a performance by the Junior Symphony Orchestra, Chinese and Western music concerts, excerpt performances of musicals, drama, Cantonese opera, open classes in dance, design and technology displays, as well as film and television graduation screenings. Visitors can also join guided tours to go behind the scenes.
