Hong Kong Academy (HKA) is pleased to announce that a limited number of merit-based scholarships are now available for new Secondary School students transitioning into HKA from local schools starting in August 2022. These new scholarships underpin HKA’s commitment to inclusion, providing students who aspire to join HKA’s dynamic learning community with the opportunity to benefit from the school’s unique educational programmes. The school also continues to offer means-tested financial assistance of up to 90% for eligible families.
In addition, HKA will be introducing MYP Chinese A language and literature starting in Grade 6 for the 2022-23 school year. As an English-medium school, this additional programme offering will further expand HKA’s ability to support language diversity within its student population. All HKA graduates can earn up to three diploma credentials – the HKA Diploma, the Global Citizen Diploma certificate, and the IB Diploma or IB course certificates.
