Wheelock Properties cashes in over HK$10.4b in first quarter 

Wheelock Properties cashed in over HK$10.4 billion in sales in the first quarter this year, with a total of 862 units sold so far, said Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu, vice chairman and managing director of the company.

Wong noted that the sales increased nearly threefold year-on-year, compared with 354 units and HK$3.2 billion sold last year.

Besides, he pointed out that one of the best-performing projects, Deep Water South in Wong Chuk Hang, co-developed by Wheelock Properties and MTR Corporation (0066), has sold 103 units so far, cashing in nearly HK$1.9 billion.

The Phase 6B of Deep Water South is expected to tender 20 to 30 units after the Easter Holiday, he added.
