Double Coast III fetches nearly HK$37.5m from six units sale

Wheelock Properties' Double Coast III in Kai Tak has sold six units in recent days, raking in nearly HK$37.54 million.

The highest price per square foot was a two-bedroom unit that sold via tender for over HK$8.95 million, or HK$20,869 per sq ft.

The project has sold 574 units to date, cashing in nearly HK$4.55 billion.

Wheelock Properties vice chairman and managing director Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu noted that as the new core area of Kowloon, Kai Tak is seeing continuous improvements in its transportation, healthcare, sports, and cultural tourism facilities. 

He added that this, coupled with the influx of talent driving both rental and purchasing demand, is expected to further enhance the attractiveness of Park Peninsula.
