The fencer, nicknamed "Sword God," is believed to have bought a parking space last month for HK$1.87 million at St Martin, Phase 1 in Pak Shek Kok. The price was about 2.1 percent lower than a recent comparable transaction of HK$1.91 million in the same building.

This follows Cheung's purchase of a 932-square-foot flat in the same development last July for over HK$16 million. The three-bedroom unit, acquired at a price of HK$17,300 per square foot, is a high-floor apartment.
Cheung, who won gold in men's foil at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympics, received substantial cash awards totalling at least HK$16.5 million from the Hong Kong Jockey Club and his alma mater Lam Tai Fai College.
