Shun Tak unveils golden serpent gentleman

Shun Tak Holdings has displayed the sculpture of Golden Serpent Gentleman, a key character in renowned novelist Jin Yong’s martial arts novel Sword Stained with Royal Blood, at Shun Tak Centre in Sheung Wan yesterday for three months.

The move was in support of A Path to Glory – Jin Yong’s Centennial Memorial, Sculpted by Ren Zhe exhibition, held at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

Jin wrote a total of 15 martial arts novels and sold over 100 million copies in 14 different languages worldwide.

Shun Tak expects that the number of visitors to its shopping mall during China’s five-day Labor Day holiday will increase by about 20 percent compared with the Easter holiday earlier.

To further enhance the leisure experience of visitors to Hong Kong, the group said Shun Tak Centre is undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
