Good clean fun on promenade run

No need to turn tail and make off if a pack of graft fighters head your way at high speed on Sunday around the East Kowloon Cultural District Harbourside. For this is the day of the Independent Commission Against Corruption'a 50th anniversary run.

The golden jubilee of the ICAC will see deputy commissioner Woo Ying-ming, head of operations Ricky Yau Shu-chun and guests including Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki and action star Donnie Yen Chi-tan.

As one of the major events in a series of community programs themed Fighting Corruption: The Mission Continues, the ICAC has also invited people to register for the five kilometer challenge run and one-kilometer family on Sunday morning.

Everyone is welcome to show support for the runners and to join in parent-child games including photo-taking booths and face-painting workshops starting from 9am.

There are no fees, but pople are encouraged to register in advance.
