The Independent Commission Against Corruption is recruiting dozens of officers to work on investigation, with an application deadline on September 1.

The agency will organize the first recruitment experience day at its headquarters in North Point on August 19.
The ICAC plans to recruit approximately 60 investigators and assistant investigators and people can apply for both positions at the same time. But applicants must meet the educational and employment requirements and pass a test arranged by the ICAC.
Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out anti-corruption law enforcement work in tandem with on-the-job training.
The application deadline for both positions is September 1.
In response to the latest civil service recruitment arrangements the ICAC is also accepting for the first time third-year university students to apply for investigator's jobs.
Students graduating in 2024 and 2025 can also apply.
Those interested in becoming an investigator, must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification awarded by any university in Hong Kong.
The starting salary for this position is HK$53,105, with maximum monthly pay of HK$107,770.
For an assistant investigator the starting salary at HK$26,815 monthly with earning potential up to HK$48,610.
Applicants must have attained level 2 or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or hold equivalent qualifications.
The agency's experience day on August 19 will include a recruitment seminar to introduce the agency's law-enforcement work and recruitment process.
Current staff will interact with participants, sharing their experiences and exchanging insights on the recruitment process.
In addition, investigators will lead tours of ICAC facilities, allowing participants to experience the simulated law enforcement process firsthand including simulating interrogations, arrests and search operations from the perspective of an investigator.
Apart from registering at the ICAC headquarters for jobs hopefuls can undergo an on-the-spot employment physical fitness test during the experience event. Those who pass the test will be recognized as meeting the physical fitness requirements for the 2023 recruitment.
The experience day will be divided into two sessions, with morning and afternoon sessions each lasting about three hours.
Both sessions will feature the same content, and interested individuals must register for an admission ticket on the ICAC's website (https://www.idea.gov.hk/icac-ops/experience-day/tc/start/section1) in advance.
Admission tickets will be allocated randomly using a computerized drawing system. The deadline for registration for the experience day is August 13.
