Topless man arrested for allegedly stealing woman's phone in Sham Shui Po

A topless man was arrested on Wednesday evening in Sham Shui Po after being intercepted by residents for allegedly stealing a woman's mobile phone, police said.

The incident occurred around 8pm on Fuk Wah Street. Online images show the man surrounded by several residents before police arrived and subdued him.

The man was arrested and later taken to Caritas Medical Centre for examination due to his agitated state. The case is being investigated by the Sham Shui Po district criminal investigation team.
