(Video) Kai Tak Sports Park celebrates TIME honour with fireworks animation on stadium facade

Kai Tak Sports Park celebrated its inclusion in TIME magazine's "World's Greatest Places 2026" list by displaying scrolling congratulatory messages accompanied by animated fireworks effects on its main stadium's exterior screen.

The park marked the honour with the display featuring "Kai Tak Sports Park: World's 100 greatest places to visit 2026 (TIME)" in English and Chinese on the stadium facade. The recognition comes as the park approaches its first anniversary since opening.

A spokesperson said the park is honored to be named one of the world's best destinations, affirming its world-class facilities and diverse experiences while highlighting Hong Kong's appeal as an international sports and events hub. The park will continue to introduce high-level activities to bring enriching experiences to residents and visitors.

TIME's annual list selects 100 exceptional destinations worldwide worth visiting, with Kai Tak Sports Park being the only Hong Kong destination on this year's list.
