Kitten found dead on pavement in Hang Hau with bag of cat food nearby

A kitten was found dead on a pavement near On Ning Garden in Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O on Wednesday evening, with an open bag of cat food lying beside it, police said.

Officers received a report around 7pm that a dying kitten was lying on the pavement. Upon arrival, police confirmed the kitten had died. No owner was found at the scene.

The case has been temporarily classified as "animal body found." The kitten's body was removed by estate security personnel.
