A cold front crossing the southern China coast Monday night to Tuesday morning may bring thunderstorms, squall lines and strong gusts known as “Shi Hu Feng,” with humid southerly flow replacing easterlies in coming days.
The Hong Kong Observatory forecasts humid southerly winds replacing the current easterly flow over the Guangdong coast in the next one to two days, leading to morning and evening mist and warm daytime temperatures.
