Man found dead in Yau Ma Tei flat

A 49-year-old man was found dead in his flat in Yau Ma Tei on Thursday night after the property owner reported him collapsed inside.

Police received a report from the owner of a residential unit at 3A Waterloo Road at around 9.11pm, stating a male tenant had been found unconscious.

Emergency personnel arrived and discovered the man, surnamed Tsui, lying in a room. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police cordoned off the unit for investigation.

The case was classified as "body found." The cause of death is pending a post-mortem examination by a forensic pathologist. Police are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
