Eco-friendly chili oil innovation
A highlight is the eco-friendly "Crispy Bread Chicken Oil Chili Oil" developed by Maxim's Food Factory, made from leftover bread fermented, baked into crunchy granules, and blended with house-made chicken oil fried with ginger and scallions, plus red chilies, finger chilies, and Sichuan peppercorns.
Each 200g bottle contains about 60g of upcycled bread.
This product launches January 20 at Maxim's Cakes, fast-food outlets, Chinese restaurants, and selected Wellcome supermarkets.
