The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) said Hong Kong recorded about 45 million provisional visitor arrivals from January to November, surpassing the total for 2024.

Preliminary figures show around 4.2 million visitors arrived in November, up 17 percent year-on-year.
Mainland Chinese visitors accounted for roughly 34.5 million arrivals during the period, an 11 percent increase from a year earlier. Non-mainland visitors totaled about 10 million, up 16 percent year-on-year.
The HKTB noted that both short-haul and long-haul markets posted growth of nearly 20 percent.
