HK$100,000 in jewelry, cash stolen from Tsuen Wan's Allway Gardens

An 84-year-old woman reported a burglary at her Allway Gardens residence in Tsuen Wan on Tuesday evening, with over HK$100,000 in valuables stolen.

Police responded to the complaint around 9 pm at 22 On Yat Street after the occupant, surnamed Chow, discovered opened windows and signs of ransacking in her flat.

Preliminary investigations indicate the theft involved approximately HK$85,000 worth of jewelry and HK$20,000 in cash. The case has been classified as burglary and assigned to the Tsuen Wan District Crime Squad. No arrests have been made.
