Woman found dead at Waterfall Bay Park

A woman was suspected to have drowned at the Waterfall Bay Park in Aberdeen.

Police received a report from park security at around 8 am on Monday that a woman was found unconscious at the bottom of the waterfall.

Firefighters responded to the scene and pulled the woman out of the water, yet the woman was declared dead on the scene.

It was understood that the woman was non-ethnic Chinese and police officers were still affirming her identity.
