A 15-year-old boy was denied bail at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts on Tuesday morning after he was brought to court for desecrating the gravestone of Wong Ka-kui, lead vocalist of legendary local rock band Beyond, at Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery.

The 15-year-old YouTuber, along with a 23-year-old air-conditioning mechanic Yip Tsz-to, were arrested by police following the incident on Sunday. They were brought to court this morning on one count of criminal damage.

They were not required to enter a plea, with their next court appearance set for June 25, pending the defense to obtain legal advice.
The magistrate denied the bail application from the 15-year-old, with his next bail review set for May 29. Yip, meanwhile, was granted a HK$5,000 cash bail. He must surrender all his travel documents, must not approach the prosecution witnesses, and must not leave the city.
Yip must also live at his reported address and report to the police twice a week.
