The Hong Kong Observatory said under the influence of a trough of low pressure, there will be heavy showers and squally thunderstorms over the coastal areas of Guangdong tomorrow.
The trough of low pressure is expected to depart slightly from the coastal areas on Wednesday, yet there will still be a few showers over the region.
However, under the influence of a trough of low pressure again over the coast of southern China in the latter part of this week, the weather will be unsettled once again with occasional thundery showers over the region, said the Observatory.
According to the watchdog’s nine-day weather forecast, there will be rainy weather until May 1. Weather conditions will slightly improve starting April 29, with a few showers throughout the day, along with sunny intervals. The temperature will also reach up to 31 degrees Celsius.
