The Immigration Department announced that a new marriage hall will commence operation on June 26 at Tseung Kwan O on the ground floor of its new headquarters.

Marriage ceremonies could be held from 9 am to 12.45 pm and from 2 pm to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 11.30 am on Saturdays, as well as 9 am to 12.45 pm and from 2 pm to 4.45 pm on Sundays. The marriage hall will closed on general holidays.
A spokesman said marrying parties may start making appointments starting from 8 am on Tuesday (Mar 12).
"Marrying parties who intend to have their marriage celebrated at the new marriage hall at Tseung Kwan O may make an appointment to give Notice of Intended Marriage at the Marriage Registration and Records Office at 3/F, Low Block, Queensway Government Offices," he said.
