Daily train rides between West Kowloon and Futian stations increase to 98 starting Jan 10

MTR Corp announced on Wednesday that the number of daily train rides between West Kowloon station and Futian station will be increased from 74 to 98 starting January 10. 

The last train departure time of some short-haul trains will also be extended. 

The departure time for the last Futian-bound train (G5608) will be extended from 10.10 pm to 11 pm, and that of the last West Kowloon-bound train (G6563) will be extended from 10.01 pm to 10.31 pm. 

As for the last train traveling from Guangzhoudong to West Kowloon (G6563), the departure time will be extended from 8.18 pm to 8.50 pm. 

“According to the arrangement of relevant mainland departments, train tickets for High Speed Rail on January 10 will be available for pre-sale starting from Friday (Dec 29),” the MTR said. 

As the nationwide HSR is also adjusting train schedules and ticketing system, passengers are advised to check the latest schedule information and pre-sale arrangements on the mainland’s 12306 website or mobile application before purchasing tickets.
