Officers responded to the office at 8 Museum Road after the 9 a.m. report, finding that one of the windows had been pried open.
Initial investigation found that 13 central processing units (CPUs) from computers and one tablet device were stolen.
Sources said the computers containing the CPUs were purchased by the office in 2018, each costing over HK$40,000 at that time.
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
