Reckless helper dicing with death

A reckless foreign domestic helper has been captured by social media users cleaning windows of a Telford Gardens flat in Kowloon Bay standing precariously on plumbing outside the tower block.

Helpers are not required to clean windows of flats. They were banned from cleaning windows above the ground floor from 2017. Employers can be held criminally liable.

In 2016, a 35-year-old Filipino helper who was cleaning windows, plunged to her death in Tseung Kwan O.
