M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum will implement special opening arrangements during the Lunar New Year holiday, while the West Kowloon Cultural District will introduce crowd management measures on the second day of the festival.
Both museums will be closed on the first day of the Lunar New Year but will reopen on the second and third days. The Hong Kong Palace Museum will further extend its opening hours from the third to the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, remaining open until 8pm during that period.
On the second day of the Lunar New Year, when large crowds are expected to gather along the harborfront to watch the festive fireworks display, the West Kowloon Cultural District will introduce crowd control measures and special traffic arrangements to facilitate visitor flow.
On that day, M+ will operate from 10am to 6pm, while the Hong Kong Palace Museum will open from 9am to 5pm.
