Hong Kong actress Carina Lau Ka-ling shared a sweet snapshot with her husband, actor Tony Leung Chiu-wai, on social media on Saturday (Aug 22), showing the award-winning actor behind the wheel as he picked her up after a workout.
Lau wrote: “Just finished running, and then the rain came. Perfect timing.”
In the photo, Leung can be seen concentrating on driving, while Lau, dressed in sportswear and wearing a baseball cap, takes a selfie from the passenger seat with a happy smile.
The low-key display of affection quickly caught fans’ attention, with many debating the identity of the car.
According to reports, Leung was recently spotted at a Morning Drive gathering in Shek O, where he was seen behind the wheel of a rare Porsche 993 Gunther Werks reportedly worth more than HK$10 million.
However, fans noticed that the interior shown in Lau’s latest photo — including the sports seats and center console — appears to belong to an Alfa Romeo rather than the Porsche.
The discovery has sparked speculation that Leung owns more than one luxury car.
Lau’s caption, “Perfect timing,” also appeared to capture the couple’s sweet chemistry, as the rain began just after she finished her run.
Leung and Lau have long been one of Hong Kong’s most closely followed celebrity couples, with their low-key glimpses into married life often attracting attention from fans.
