This followed the latest video of the actress on Xiaohongshu, where she shared her own recipe of a “minty lemon-lime refresher” to beat the scorching38-degree Celsius heat in France.
In the clip, Cheung is seen slicing lemons while gently guiding a young girl named Alyssa to add mint leaves into the pitcher.
The warm, affectionate moments between the duo have left viewers swooning, with some eagerly questioning if the girl was Cheung's secret daughter.

However, the speculation was soon put to rest after a fan clarified that Alyssa is the daughter of Cheung's French friend, a Bordeaux winery owner who gave her a small plot of land for gardening, as mentioned in her earlier videos.
The video has also sparked online debates over Cheung's decision not to have children, triggering mixed opinions on her personal choice.
"Some said having no children is great when you're young, but having a child would be wonderful at this age," one commenter wrote. Meanwhile, others defended her decision, expressing pride and admiration for her life choices.
Fans also adored the relaxed vibe of Cheung's videos, with many praising her daily moments and the little girl's cuteness.
As one of Hong Kong's most decorated actresses, Cheung’s personal life off-screen has long attracted public attention.
Known for her ups and downs in relationships, Cheung was once married to French director Olivier Assayas from 1998 to 2001, but their marriage reportedly fell apart due to long-distance separation.
She later dated German architect Ole Scheeren and even relocated to Beijing, but the relationship ended in 2011.
In response to her love life, Cheung has previously stated that every heartbreak was a learning experience and that she treasures the beautiful memories from each relationship.
The actress now regularly shares glimpses of her slow-paced life in France after announcing a comeback to social media last August when she joined Xiaohongshu.
