Shenzhen Dobot debuts 199,000 yuan full-sized humanoid robot

Chinese robot maker Shenzhen Dobot (2432) has launched the world’s first full-sized intelligent humanoid robot, Dobot Atom, featuring both dexterous manipulation and straight-leg walking, at a starting price of 199,000 yuan (HK$ 213,751).

This marks the official entry of full-sized humanoid robots into the 199,000-yuan price range, potentially accelerating the era of mass production.

Shenzhen Dobot has initiated collaborations with leading domestic car manufacturers, electronics factories, and coffee and tea shops, aiming to achieve trial production and mass production by mid-year.

Meanwhile, shares of Shenzhen Dobot surged 13.56 percent to HK$ 60.70 today.
