Sam’s candidacy form was officially submitted to the Chief Executive Electoral Affairs Commission at the Public Administration Building in Rua do Campo, Macau at 10 am Tuesday.
The Chief Executive Election Law stipulates that individuals interested in standing as a candidate for the post of Chief Executive must receive at least 66 nominations from members of the Chief Executive Election Committee.
That means the former top judge will be the only candidate running for the election to be held on October 13.
