Pedestrian dies after being hit by two minibuses consecutively

A male pedestrian died after he was hit by two minibuses consecutively in Kwun Tong on Thursday night. 

The deadly incident was reported to police at around 7 pm tonight. The man was crossing the road at 95 Hong Ning Road at the time and was first hit by a red minibus going down the slope. 

As the man collapsed, he was further hit by a green minibus climbing uphill in the adjacent driving lane. 

Paramedics soon rushed to the scene to offer first aid but the man was later pronounced dead on the spot. 

The two minibuses later pulled over by the side as police cordoned off the area to investigate. 

Transport Department said due to the incident, all lanes of Hong Ning Road (Kwun Tong Road bound) near Hong Ning Road Recreation Ground are closed to all traffic as of 8.34 pm.
