The arrested were the now-defunct Demosisto's ex-deputy secretaries-general Chan Kok-hin and
member Lily Wong Lee-lee, according to sources.
The duo, both 29 years old, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to "collusion with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security" and "conspiracy to doing an act or acts with seditious intention."
They were said to have used the money the online shopping platform had raised to support Nathan Law Kwun-chung - one of eight wanted suspects in exile said to have engaged in activities that endangers national security.
They are being detained for further questioning. Police do not rule out the possibility that more arrests will be made.
At least five members of the defunct Demosisto - including Chu Yan-ho, Ivan Lam Long-yin, William Liu Wai-lim, Arnold Chung Chin-ku and Li Kai-ching - have been arrested earlier this month for conspiracy to collude with foreign forces over the platform which police say provides financial support to overseas fugitives.
