Great travel ideas galore at ITE 2023

The Hong Kong International Travel Expo (ITE) makes a triumphant return to feature about 400 pavilions this year! As Hong Kong’s one-and-only travel fair, the ITE offers a goldmine of valuable travel information for travelers in seek of inspiration.

Organized by TKS Exhibition Services Limited, the International Travel Expo (ITE) 2023 is being held from today till June 18 in halls 1B-1E of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Chief Executive of Hong Kong John Lee Ka-chiu sent his message welcoming ITE participants this year. Also Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, JP, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the HKSAR Government officiating the Expo’s opening on 15 Jun 2023.

With official pavilions from tourism authorities accounting for an absolute majority of exhibitors, visitors can take a glimpse of the newest must-see attractions and trendy activities of around 50 countries and regions. As themed travel is gaining traction, the ITE joins hands with their business associates to put up special displays this year. One such display focuses on In-depth (Culture) Travel in Hong Kong, highlighting themes such as “Craftsman and Old Shops”, “Revitalized Villages”, and “The City’s Sky Mirrors”, whereas another display features the Greater Bay Area.
Apart from the special displays, visitors can look forward to a multitude of winner displays from two travel-themed competitions. The award ceremonies of the two competitions – one themed as School Adventure, the other Study Tour Route Design – are held at the ITE. Together with the participating students, teachers, school administrators and parents, visitors get to attend the ceremony and be inspired by the award-winning displays.

For exhibitors looking to gain exposure and reach the targeted audience, look no further than the ITE’s seminar sessions! With nearly 80 sessions scheduled this year, the seminars are always well-attended, with popular ones drawing in 150 or more audiences – many of which are frequent travelers who find these seminars highly convenient and practical for planning upcoming holidays.

To ensure quality, seminar sessions are not for rent. Instead, interested exhibitors can apply for it and if approved, free time slot will be offered. To increase the chances of being selected, consider nominating KOLs as speakers, since it notches up the appeals of these seminars.
