A 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday afternoon after a drug bust where police found some HK$20 million worth of drugs in Tin Sum.
Officers from the Narcotics Bureau initiated the operation around 4pm yesterday after intelligence analysis and investigation and intercepted the man surnamed Yiu in Tin Sum, finding six kilograms of suspected "ice" drug methamphetamine in his possession.
Police then searched his home and further seized about 22 kilograms of suspected ketamine and another 6.5 kilograms of suspected "ice" drug, as well as some packaging equipment.
The man was later arrested for trafficking in dangerous drugs and is now remanded in custody. Police have laid two counts of the charge against him, and he will appear in the Shatin Magistrates' Courts next Monday morning.
