First 'lunch with you' protest since security law

Protesters have responded to online calls for the first "lunch with you" demonstration since the national security law for Hong Kong took effect last week. 

At around 1pm, protesters gathered at the IFC Mall in Central, some holding up blank pieces of paper as a protest placard. Others held up normal protest signs and shouted slogans such as "five demands, not one less."

A new version of the popular protest anthem, which replaced the lyrics with numbers, was also sung.

Riot police entered the mall at around 1.30pm, stopping and searching a few of the protesters. 

All were allowed to leave after the search and protesters dispersed peacefully at around 2pm.
