Seven-time snooker world champion Ronnie "Rocket" O'Sullivan, who is also a resident of Hong Kong, attended the opening ceremony of a Chinese 8-Ball Center in Kwun Tong on Wednesday.

O'Sullivan is an investor in the facility, which attracted over one hundred fans to the event.
The snooker legend said that he will be participating in the upcoming Shanghai Masters, scheduled to commence on Monday (Jul 28), and expressed his eagerness to compete against Zhao Xintong, the reigning world champion.
O'Sullivan faced Zhao in the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship held in May, where he was defeated.
Regarding his preparations for the Shanghai Masters, O'Sullivan stated that he continually strives for excellence through rigorous training and maintaining his sharpness. "I am always ready," he affirmed.
O'Sullivan indicated that he plans to visit Hong Kong more frequently to engage in snooker matches and connect with fans. He expressed his gratitude to those who attended the ceremony, thanking them in Mandarin.
