Man dies after falling from footbridge in Kwun Tong

A 47-year-old man died after falling from a footbridge in Kwun Tong on Tuesday night, police said.

Police received a report around 11.36pm that a man was heard shouting for help near Hip Wo Street. Officers arrived to find the man, surnamed Yan, lying unconscious on a hillside. He was rushed to United Christian Hospital but later died.

Preliminary investigations suggest the man fell from a footbridge. No suicide note was found. The case has been classified as suicide.
