Police arrest 15 as Kwun Tong drug den raid yields $120,000 narcotics

Police arrested 15 people in Kwun Tong on Thursday after raiding a unit on Shui Wo Street suspected of being a drug den, seizing narcotics worth about HK$120,000, authorities said.

A 43-year-old local woman was arrested for operating a drug den and trafficking dangerous drugs. Thirteen local men and one local woman aged between 26 and 75 were arrested for taking or injecting dangerous drugs.

Officers seized about 129.8 grams of suspected heroin, 9.5 grams of suspected ice, 36 suspected liquid etomidate capsules, 90 suspected midazolam pills and a batch of drug-taking tools.
