Journalism line runs straighter

The third Hong Kong Baptist University professional journalism fellowship is opening for applications, inviting those with more than five years of experience to take a break

Aiming to elevate journalism standards, the scheme will offer opportunities for people to engage in full-time studies for one or two semesters at HKBU. And they will be able to attend any course at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels with the approval of course instructors.

Full-time journalists employed by news organisations based in Hong Kong are eligible, with a deadline of April 24.

Initiated and funded by Professor Raymond Wong is first of its kind in Hong Kong. In 2020 he made a donation of HK$50 million to the School of Communication.
