Art adds to life experience

Teenagers and children in Yau Tsim Mong and Sham Shui Po can join community workshops and activities to learn art and the importance of living sustainably until August.

The program is under social enterprise Art of My Family.

Its Mother Nature and Our Next Generation Exhibition and Community Art Program are sponsored by the Hongkong Land Home Fund.

These activities are to help youngsters explore environmental issues, strengthen family and social relationships and empower personal growth and holistic development through the arts.

The program is in five parts, including exhibitions, pine cone-painting workshops, plant puzzle workshops, Central safari drawing and coloring competition plus guided tours and digital learning.

Community art workshops have run from December to April.

Then a drawing and coloring competition will be held from April to June.

In July there will be exhibitions and guided tours and from July to August a digital learning program.
