Two former top officials in former chief executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor's government - including former chief secretary Matthew Cheung Kin-chung and former welfare and labor minister Law Chi-kwong - have been appointed as adjunct professors at Lingnan University.All three newly appointed former officials will teach or support research within the Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies.
Wong Chack-Kie - a former full-time advisor of the Central Policy Unit in Leung Chun-ying's government from 2012 to 2017 - was also appointed as an adjunct professor of the university.

Cheung will be conducting lectures in the Health and Social Services Management program and offering advice on APIAS' research work.
Law will offer insights for APIAS to further develop impactful research to inform policy making. He will also advise on curriculum design and provide lectures. Wong will support APIAS staff with conducting research.
